Dr. Ebrahim returns from Charity Climb to K2 Basecamp

On September 5, Dr. Ebrahim embarked on her third climb for charity – this time in Pakistan, climbing to the base camp of K2, the second largest mountain on earth.

“It’s exhilarating and rewarding” offers Dr. Ebrahim.  “Once you start on a path like this, raising funds for meaningful charities while climbing the world’s famous mountains, all you want to do is plan the next one.  I love it!”

This year’s climb resulted in $2500 going to two of her favourite charities:  Opportunity International, a non profit international organization helping women in third world countries with micro-financing; and  towards Balegon School for girls in Pakistan.
